BLS Instructor Course

Become an American Heart Association BLS Instructor through the Coach Nurse Academy AHA Training Site, led by Dr. Michael J. Rietscha, DNP, RN, AHA Training Center Faculty.

Format: Blended. Complete the AHA online BLS Instructor Essentials course first, then attend one in-person instructor day with skills evaluation and a teaching demonstration.

Includes: hands-on instructor training, teaching practice with real-time feedback, how to run and lead a CPR class, AHA guidelines for BLS and Heartsaver, alignment with our AHA Training Site, monitoring of your first class, and business, marketing and pricing guidance to launch your own classes.
